There's 9 pages?! I kid you not, we've lasted a year and still continue to expand, expand!
Progress, progress, onward! Must pad out the paragraph on the top of the page!
Forum LUNARE ran a thread for the sole purpose of inclusion into this site. Thanks to Enigmaopoeia, The Otaku Witch, and Ian.
Both the anime and manga list her favorite subject
as P.E. Haruka's grades are never mentioned, but she isn't shown to blow off school either.
This comes from the
DVD box for the R1 DVD release of the S movie. This doesn't actually appear in the translation track,
even in the dub. Her name is Princess Snow Kaguya. Pioneer's box-writers can get quite lazy (i.e.
referring to Ryoko as "Royce" on an old Tenchi Universe VHS.)
Whoa, the princess of Kinmoku is an ice-collecting
psychopath?! But she looks so innocent!
This is according Anime Insider. This was apparently
consistent in the article, though everything else was accurate.
Now, the question is how to pronounce that...is it "Ten-wah," "Ten-wee," or "Ten-o-wee." Hmmm...sounds Irish to me...
No, silly. It's Naomi Tamagotchi! Everyone knows that!
Usage?! Now THERE'S a porn star name if there
ever was one!
Just you wait, Michiru's gonna get her back by dating this chick named Hakura!
Michiru: Warrior Princess.
Which is why it's blue in the anime, the musicals, the live-action series, the merchandise...
Man, what did Deimos do to get kicked out of the shrine, poop on Yuiichirou or something? They're crows by the way...
Oh, I get it now, SHE'S the walrus! Well, goo goo g'joob!
There now, Ami, see? Somebody finally screwed up your
name too.
They didn't transfer, at least not during the Infinity arc or any point of the anime. They DID transfer to Juuban High during the manga, but that was because Mugen Gakuen was destroyed.
Then who the hell is this Neptune that shows up on Cartoon Network? Her badly-dubbed, stuck-up clone? Oh wait...
Not in the anime. Though The Otaku Witch had this to say about 'Galicka': "Why does that rendering of Galaxia's name make me think that she would have done well against the Vampire in the SuperS special??"
Who fight the wicked Sailors of the Stinky Planet!
Enigmaopoeia: "Are you my Mama?"
I'm sure she'll be a great teacher once she learns what 1+1 is. Or if she wears those teddies to school...
This is really a dub rumor, but Raye only sings "Oh Starry Night," for her concert. "Rainy Day Man" was a background song for episode 49 (not entirely sure of the dub number)when Lita remembered Ken helping her through a break up, and the singer was different from Raye's dub voice, and different from the singer who did Raye's singing voice for "Call My Name" and "Oh Starry Night." Thanks a bunch to Otaku Witch for getting the names of the singers.
Usagi and Rei never fueded over Mamoru. They were both interested in him at different times, so there was no reason for them to fued over him anyway.
Mega in love? Mega thunder? Did a Captain N writer sneak into this website? And sure Makoto fell for Motoki, but that was only for a brief period.
Sailor P? I guess it's better than Sailor Youranus...she calls her "Puu" actually.
There's so much wrong with this one I'll have to itemize. Great:P 1) Chibimoon and Chibi Usa do not appear in the dub. 2) Chibimoon is not a nickname, it's her Sailor name. 3) She actually fell on top of Usagi and Mamoru accidentally kissed her instead of Usagi. 4) Chibi Usa and Usagi's memories work just fine, Chibi Usa simply didn't realize that the whiny, screaming teenager she landed on was her graceful, flawless mother, nor did Usagi think that this whiny, bratty child who landed on her head and forced her way into her household was her future child. I doubt Usagi could honestly remember a child that she had never met or given birth to yet anyway.
The kanji in his name spell out "progress" (shin) and "enlightenment" (go). You COULD get "signal" if you changed the kanji, but still not "traffic light."
Rei. As in "spirit." "Rai" can be a bunch of other things, one of which could be "lightning," which would mess up her fire element, huh?
Yea, I'd hate some stupid little brat for helping me befriend people I hated too! How DARE that girl be happy and social! GRRR!
Uhh...one, Jadeite never seems to have a disguised name while he's working at the shrine, and two, Rei tells everyone that the only reason he was there was because her grandfather hit up on him to work at the shrine.
Brookdale is the dub name, T*A is the Japanese name. They are not nicknames for each other.
Ami lives in an apartment in Japan too. "Mansion" in Japanese is meant to be an "apartment" house, as the word is taken from French.
"Ocean" tends to be associated with Neptune, actually...Mercury is water. And she is never called "Queen of the Ocean."
Al and En came to earth because they needed energy to keep the Makaiju alive so they didn't all die.
The heck!? Then how come nobody remembers it? The Japanese version gives the impression the Silver Millenium existed thousands of years ago, and even the dub says it took place one thousand years earlier.
The anime revealed that Makoto got into the domestic habits because she wanted to make herself more feminine (her size intimidates a lot of guys...)
Makoto is a Japanese student, and she was kicked out of her old school for fighting with a STUDENT.
This is a mixing of the anime, the manga...and I think a ball of lint or something. The manga never had Minako visit England (though as mentioned earlier, she was over there because she was chasing a youma in the anime). The anime never explains how Minako became Sailor Venus after being Sailor V, but the end of the Sailor V manga shows her remembering the Silver Millenium and this causes her to become Sailor Venus. In the anime, she left England because she was hurt in an explosion and her friend Katarina thought she had died and sought comfort in the arms of Alan, who Minako was also in love with. She left England to make them think she really was dead so they could still be together. The anime does not explain how long before her appearence to the other Senshi this was. In the manga, when Minako returns to Tokyo from China (shown right at the end of Sailor V), she does appear with a crescent moon and says she is the moon princess.
They only challenged Sailor Moon because they wanted to be sure they were putting their allegiences behind someone they felt worthy to lead. Since Sailor Moon won, they swore loyalty to her. It's much more complex, but they didn't just randomly try to kill her.
Michiru is...KING?! And Mercury is Queen...YAGH!
YOW! Neptune does get more competitive, but she's never a sore loser, and has never shown jealousy in the series. She gets colder and more focused, but that's not being sore.
Considering the laser blast coming out of the mirror, I guess the truth hurts. Oh, I love punning...
